- A correctly equipped vehicle, equiped with the system positioned external vehicle antenna, there is an effective range of up to 1.6 Kilometres (1 mile), depending on local condition
- Multiple notification mediums. The TPASS will send out a notification while the vehicle in the area will be flashing its lights and sounding the horn (similar to a car alarm) when there hasn’t been any form of contact for an extended period of time
- Greater customization options for device time limits and operator requirements
- There is a fail safe. If there was ever a lost connection and/or an incident, once the allotted time has passed for the worker to make contact, the device in the vehicle will send out a notification and sound its alarm.
